NEW DAY BY DARLIS is to encourage both men and women to let go of the past. Each day brings opportunities for “overs.” I share positive choices for a new day through true-life stories and spiritual insights.

Personal Philosophy

NEW DAY BY DARLIS shares the practicality of God’s Word. Ancient wisdom can be applied to our modern lives with very inspiring results. Perhaps you own a Bible but have never read it. Or, maybe you are one who looks for inspiration daily by reading and meditating on Scripture.

Either way, you will enjoy these personal and uplifting stories. As adults, we are responsible for our own choices in life. The Bible says to “Test everything. Hold on to the good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). As you read the blogs, decide for yourself whether they are the good you need to improve your life. If so, apply them in your own personal way.

Basic Belief

NEW DAY BY DARLIS believes the crowning glory of God’s creation was human beings. The Genesis account of Creation is orderly and marvelous in its intelligent design and miraculous execution.

God desires us to live lives full of purpose and passion. I consider it one of His miracles that we each have different personal interests and gifts of service. In sharing these with one another, life becomes more fulfilling.

I enjoy writing and sharing personal stories and viewpoints. Whether I teach, speak or write, my constant desire is to encourage.
